Kickboxing is an interactive fighting sport that uses traditional boxing techniques along with a variety of kicks above the waist. We use a variety of teaching methods that make our classes fun and challenging to all, each student is treated as an individual and trained accordingly.

All students will need to participate in a trial class before signing up. Contact us on info@enfieldkickboxingacademy.com to book your trial class.

On the day of your trial class a jogging bottoms/tracksuit, T-shirt, a water bottle and a pair of trainers will be suitable.

For your trial lesson you will be provided with gloves. However, there on after we will expect you to buy a pair for yourself. The gloves you own yourself will feel better, look cooler and are a more sanitary choice. You can purchase gloves from us.

No, definitely not! All are classes are tailored for students of all fitness abilities. Regular training will rapidly increase fitness, flexbility and technique.

All lessons will vary each week. We will warm up, stretch, hit pads, spar and practice technical drills. Sparring is available in most classes for those who wish (after a trial class).

Kickboxing does involve physical contact, and you have to be very lucky or extremely good to avoid the occasional bruise in your Martial Arts career. The instructors are very aware of the potential for injury and constantly strive to promote technical excellence and self control to reduce the risks.

Yes, with regular training. Gradings are held three times a year for juniors/adults and once a year for tigers. We will discuss with you prior to grading whether you have attained the required standard to grade.
